Comediennes Nicola Gardner & Sharon Heywood met at a comedy workshop in 2005. They were impressed with each other's performance and then got their heads together and formed a comedy duo, Not2Bad.
The Not2Bad comedy experience is a riveting mix of hilarious sketches. Not2Bad have created an abundance of comedy material written specially for film & television. In addition, they have written and performed in their own comedy show, 'Blood Sisters Reunited'. Their material lends itself to stage, TV, Radio, Corporate entertainment and anywhere else you please. Nicola & Sharon have also put together DVD showcases of their work fitting for children's and mainstream TV.
Nicola Gardner has had featured roles on TV in Coronation Street, The Royal, Merseybeat, The World of Lee Evans, Brookside
, Verdict, and Emmerdale. She has also appeared in radio plays for BBC Radio 4. In addition she has performed in plays at both
the Contact and the Library Theatre. Nicola has also toured with Northern Broadsides Theatre Company, playing Ariel in The
Tempest.
Sharon Heywood has recently appeared in a TV commercial for Persil alongside Stephen Gerard and appeared at The Contact
Theatre for North West Playwrights. Other credits include professional theatre projects such as "On the dole and lovin' it". Sharon
has written comedy sketches for ITV's Shoot The Writers and written and performed for a radio soap opera with All FM Manchester & GMR. She has also appeared at the Edinburgh Festival.
Not2Bad have also filmed sketch material for Sky's Red TV & guested on GMR & All FM Radio Stations.
